Delicious food
Staying locally, so came into the pub for a meal. I had steak and my wife had the cajun chicken. Both were delicious. So much so that a couple of nights later we got a takeaway pizza from there too. Also gave me an excuse for a sneaky pint while I waited.
Again the food was lovely! If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely return!

Stopped here for dinner while cycling the King Alfred’s Way with friends. Great welcome, lovely food, friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommended- proper pub.
Quiet pub, great food and service
Decided to give this place a try and came away very happy. It's a nice little pub, with a small beer garden. It was very quiet when we went (Tuesday lunch) but we had a great baguette and chips and even had the pleasure of finding out the owner was carrying on the half price scheme. I would have happily paid full price, at half price it was an absolute bargain!
